A Crow and a Fox

One day a hungry crow found a piece of cheese. It wanted to eat it sitting on a branch in a tree.  A fox was passing there and wanted that piece of cheese. He began to flatter the crow saying it was very nice and it was very clever. The fox asked the crow to sing. Very flattered, the stupid crow began to sing but dropped the cheese from its beak.  Beware of flatterers!

 Corbul si vulpea

Ïntr-o zi un corb flãmând gãsi o bucatã de cascaval. Se pregãtea sã o mãnânce pe ramura unui copac.
O vulpe care trecu pe acolo fu tentatã de brânzã. Începu sã-l laude pe corb cã aratã bine si cã e tare destept. Dar ar dori sã-l audã cum cântã.
Mãgulit peste mãsurã, corbul se umflã în pene si începu a cânta, scãpând cascavalul din gurã.
Fereste-te de lãudãrosi!
