The Story of the Rainbow
 
    Seven stars in many colours slid down from the sky and fell on the Earth. They tried to rise again on the sky but they foiled.
    They started to cry. The tears of the blue star painted the seas and the sky, the grass and the forest borrowed the green star's colour. The world became more and more beautiful.
    The stars asked the animals for helping them to reach the sky back.
    Only spider -king had a saving idea: to spin a thread of their made own tears for seven years. Them being on the top of the highest mountain, they should raise a bridge made of the cloth of their tears. In this way they will be able to go back home, on the sky. And so they did. From that day, after every rain the Earth- people remember the story, of the seven stars.
    A seven colours bridge joins the Earth and the Sky.

Povestea curcubeului
Sapte stele multicolore au alunecat de pe cer si au cãzut pe Pãmânt.
Au încercat sã se înalte din nou pe cer, dar n-au reusit. Au început sã plângã: lacrimile stelei albastre au colorat mãrile si vãzduhul, iarba si pãdurea au luat culoarea stelei verzi. Lumea devenea tot mai frumoasã.
Au cerut ajutorul vietuitoarelor ca sã se înalte din nou spre cer. Numai regele pãianjenilor le-a dat o idee salvatoare: timp de sapte ani sã-si toarcã fir din propriile lacrimi. Apoi, de pe vârful celui mai înalt munte îsi vor înãlta un pod din pânza lacrimilor lor si vor putea ajunge acasã, pe cer. Asa fãcurã.
De atunci, dupã fiecare ploaie, pãmântenii îsi amintesc de povestea celor sapte stele. Un pod din sapte culori apropie Pãmântul si cerul.
Treaptã cu treaptã, scara e urcatã!
